There have been several legislative changes recently which raises the question whether trusts are still relevant today. This course will introduce you to the basic legal and practical aspects of trusts and how they can be used effectively and efficiently, for example as part of a holistic financial plan.
Trusts are useful in financial planning because of the various advantages they offer, but they must be structured correctly to get the full benefit. This course will look at: different types of trusts, the various role players, trust management, the duties of trustees, the amendment of trust deeds, taxation, and financial planning tips and traps.
Join us for a six-hour course, held over three days, which will deepen your understanding of trusts and in addition explain when a trust is an appropriate vehicle to use in financial planning.
