This is an introductory course to competition law compliance. It is aimed at anyone with an interest in regulatory compliance. It aims to provide an understanding of the requirements for competition law compliance and to provide practical guidance on the essential provisions a competition law compliance policy should contain.

- Gained insight into Competition Act and what compliance with the Act entails
- Gained understanding of practical enforcement of the Act, through reference to cases and practical examples
- Understand the consequences of non-compliance with the Competition Act
- Understand what needs to be included in a competition compliance policy

Presenter
Advocate Candice Slump (B.Juris, LLB, and LLM) practiced as an Advocate for over 18 years and served as an Acting Judge in the High Court. In November 2017 she joined the Competition Commission of South Africa as Manager: Litigation. She leads complex competition litigation and provides competition law training to Commission economists and lawyers and to attorneys and advocates in private practice.
