Presenters
Jared Lesar is Head of Legal at Root, a Cape Town-based global fintech startup. He has substantial experience working as a mergers and acquisitions attorney at Bowmans, with expertise in venture capital and private equity investments and fund formations. He has advised on transactions across the African continent and acted for investors and startup founders in significant venture capital transactions in the South African market. He is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa and holds LLB (magna cum laude) and BCom (Economics and Law) degrees from UCT. He is a keen writer and podcaster on topics relating to startups, tech and law.
