ALL POSTGRADUATE REGISTRATION QUERIES must be emailed to lawreg-pg@uct.ac.za – those sending queries to any other email address will experience a delay in getting a response.

Registration | Notes

• Please check the main UCT Registration page for dates applicable to you and your degree.
• Registration will take place online for all postgraduate students (using the PeopleSoft Service Request system).
• For international students who need to complete the international clearance process (ie. visa, medical aid & fee checks) visit the IAPO student support website.
• Registration usually opens in January each year and will run for each programme for a set period only.  
• All students are required to register in the allocated window for their programme. Do not wait until you return to Cape Town to register.
• It is important that you register in the window allocated for your programme. All returning students are required to renew their registration at the beginning of each academic year. Candidates who register late will be charged a late registration penalty. See the registration deadline dates outlined in the schedule above.
• Completing/ renewing your MoU: you will be prompted by UCT's student records system to complete your MoU.
