Four students competed in the 2014 Kader Asmal Moot Competition held at UWC on 24-5 April. AzolaFutshane and Alexandra Swanepoel won the final round, with Markus Trengrove and Azola Futshane sharing the best speaker award.

The team was coached by Public Law tutors,  Ada Tchoukou, Peter Cohen, and Ntokozo Qwabe. Mr Qwabe noted that the group were all in their Preliminary Year (as opposed to more senior students in previous years) and that this augurs well for UCT’s chances in the All Africa Moot Competition later in the year.
