Law, like Poetry was this year’s theme for celebrating Africa and meridian on 15th August saw Kramer delighting in our African sense and sensibilities. Read on
The title was taken from UK academic Peter Fitzgerald’s pun on WH Auden’s Law, like love and though loosely interpreted by staff and students alike, the resulting programme was a feast – a feast of talent, of emotion, of sound and also a feast of African delicacies with Jollof rice from Nigeria, Akni from the Cape and the perennial favourites, curry bunnies & moer koffie and tea & scones.
