The mood, as always, was festive and the joy palpable as the law faculty celebrated its graduates in Kramer Quad before the formalities at Jameson Hall on 13 June. These moments were captured by Caitlin le Roith and Je'nine May.

Marimba Jam kicked off festivities at the pre-graduation celebration attended by graduates and their families in the Faculty of Law.

From left, 2015 graduates Dullah Daniels, Isaac Maregele, Tahne Thomas, Chanda Chungu and Mary Jiyani.

Jane Hoffe embodied the joy and happiness she and her fellow graduates felt at reaching this all-important milestone.

Isabella Kentridge (middle) celebrated with her parents Anne Stanwix and world-famous artist William Kentridge.

The academic procession into Jameson Hall is a time-honoured tradition and part of a UCT graduation ceremony.

The graduation ceremony is the culmination of many years of hard work and sacrifice for these law graduates.

The pride is unmistakable, as Chanda Chungu is hooded by UCT registrar Royston Pillay.
