The Law Faculty has had a particularly busy week, with numerous special events on the go.  Following from a very successful UCT Open Day on 21st April, members of the Faculty - staff and students - continue apace to invest time and energy in sharing their knowledge and expertise.  Initiatives include - amongst many others - the Democratic Governance and Research Unit running a week-long programme for judges from across the continent; the Law@Work project holding a two-day workshop on the Financial Sector Regulation Act; Lauren Kohn, lecturer in Constitutional Law, chatting to Koketso Sachane on Cape Talk about the landmark ConCourt  ruling in favour of the Helen Suzman Foundation about access to full proceedings of the JSC process. the Law Students Council holding an event to commemorate the life and work of Winnie Mandela; and the Altum Sonatur committee holding a launch event for their latest edition of this award-winning student law magazine.
