In 2017, Prof Tjakie Naude of the UCT Law Faculty together with Prof Hans Micklitz of the European University Institute (Florence, Italy) organised a conference on Dissemination of Consumer Law and Policy in Anglophone Africa. Some of the papers presented at this conference have now been published in a special issue of the Journal of Consumer Policy, an internationally acclaimed journal in this field. The special issue is available for open access until 28 February 2019 at https://link.springer.com/journal/10603/41/4, and after that can be accessed on the same site. The articles focus on aspects of consumer law in the following African countries:  Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Seychelles, South Africa, Tanzania and Uganda
