The Law Faculty Office is the home of academic administration in the Law Faculty.  For applications, admissions, registrations, course changes, and all matters related to leave of absence, special concessions, scholarship funding and more, the Faculty Office is your friend.

The office is headed up by Patricia Phillips, Faculty Manager (Acting), whose team comprises Clare Richfield and Sybil Mbambo who make up the School for Advanced Legal Studies administration team, and take care of all postgraduate student matters; and Lizeka Stemela and Monique Kerspay who comprise the current Undergraduate team focused on all undergraduate student matters.  In addition, the Faculty Office team includes a Faculty Liaison Officer, Lwandile Nontsele, and Nolwazi Zondi on Faculty Office Reception

Together, the Faculty Office team provides the academic administration for all of UCT's Law programmes. The team administers applications to UCT to study Law; manages the process of offering places to prospective students to study at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels; oversees the registration of all students along with any course changes; provides information and support with regard to who to speak to about particular academic and related issues in the Faculty; and generally provide administrative support for the academic endeavour with regard to students.

If you have any questions about applying to study Law, or are unsure about something regarding your course list for the year, check in with the Faculty Office team on Level 4, Kramer Building or on +27 21 650 3086 or on email - or you can check the Faculty Facebook page for info.
