RESPONSA MERIDIANA STUDENT LAW JOURNAL 2019

Volume 55 (2019) of Responsa Meridiana, the annual student law journal published through the collaborative efforts of the law students of the University of Cape Town and Stellenbosch University, is now available for purchase.

This year’s volume marks the continuation of the publication’s historic legacy in showcasing the insightful and erudite ideas of each university’s undergraduate students. The 2019 journal engages with a wide range of issues that are especially pertinent to South Africa’s unique socio-economic context - ranging from the formalisation of informal credit services and debt relief mechanisms for indigent consumers, to issues of gender-based violence and gangsterism and our law’s response thereto.
