John Cartwright, Co-coordinator of the Neighbourhood Safety Initiative, Global Risk Governance programme, was interviewed by Africa Melane on Cape Talk . John talked about setting up neighbourhood watch groups, the importance of co-ordinating with other groups involved in safety, particularly the local South African Police Service, and what the neighbourhood watch groups are legally allowed to do.
