The Department of Home Affairs will be renewing refugee and asylum permits that have expired from 26 February 2020.

The process is straightforward and is completed via email to the relevant Refugee Reception Office (RRO). The RRO will respond to your application with instructions to be completed, and when approved will issue an asylum seeker or refugee with a renewed permit, which is sent to you via email.
