New Book on Hydraulic Fracturing in the Karoo
IMEL is happy to announce the publication of a new book titled Hydraulic Fracturing in the Karoo: Critical Legal and Environmental Perspectives which is edited by Jan Glazewski and Surina Esterhuyse (Eds). The book explores a broad-ranging set of questions related to proposed hydraulic fracturing or ‘fracking’ in the Karoo. The book is multidisciplinary, with over 30 contributors including natural scientists, social scientists, lawyers and academics from the humanities, offering varied and diverse views.
