Public law is that part of law which governs relationships between individuals and the government, and those relationships between individuals which are of direct concern to society.
Staff are involved in exploring, educating and advising in areas associated with human rights, good governance and criminal justice, not just in the classroom but also on popular media platforms such as blogs, news op eds and social media.
For students looking to specialise in Public Law, the Faculty offers an excellent choice of Masters programmes in a number of Private Law areas - with a choice of postgraduate elective courses. In addition to a coursework LLM option, students can choose to do an LLM by coursework and dissertation, or they can do a Masters by research only.
