A Flood of Environmentally-Related Amendment Bills Before Parliament

This year a broad range of important environmentally-related Amendment Bills have been introduced to Parliament. These Bills propose important amendments to most of South Africa’s contemporary environmental laws. All these Bills are still currently in the Parliamentary process (as at mid-Oct 2013). So as to promote public access and awareness of the Bills, IMEL have compiled a short summary of these relevant Amendment Bills which is accessible here. The Amendment Bills include the following:
