Mooting

CLS supports the annual Kate O'Regan Moot, which offers law students an important opportunity to develop their advocacy skills (for which there is insufficient time in the formal curriculum), and to engage public interest issues from a legal perspective. It is also an opportunity for legal practitioners to engage with students, offering input that can be a highly formative learning experience.

Public Interest Research Hub

This innovative project enables law students to apply their legal research skills to social justice problems, and gain exposure to public interest work. Students are also able to obtain credits for community service hours, thus connecting back to the formal curriculum.
