Dineo Skosana
Dineo Skosana is a Senior Researcher and the Head of the Society, Work and Politics Institute (SWOP) at the University of the Witwatersrand, where she also serves as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Political Studies. Her research focuses on mineral and land governance, land and heritage rights, in the political geographies of extraction. Skosana has conducted extensive research and published widely on the evolving role of traditional leadership in post-apartheid South Africa.
Shane Phiri
 Shane Phiri is a Lecturer and PhD Candidate in Poverty, Land and Agrarian Studies at the  University of the Western Cape. His research interests include Property and Land Reform.
Thiyane Duda
Thiyane Duda is a researcher at the Land and Accountability Research Centre (LARC), in department of Public Law at the University of Cape Town. At LARC, Thiyane is a member of the governance team and his research interests are ubukhosi ("traditional leadership"), umthetho wesiNtu ("customary law"), ingoma as a healing methodology in agitating for redress and isiNtu epistemologies and ontologies. Thiyane also hosts LARC's podcast, uMhlaba Talks, and is a co-host of UNcwadi nobuGcisa, an Instagram Live reading platform focusing on revitalising the readership of literature written in isiNtu languages,  claiming space for this literature in the digital space and supporting the revitalisation of Lovedale Press.
