“DGRU facilitated a forum for judges from around the SADC region at Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, from the 8^th to the 10^th of February 2019. These forums are designed to give judges an opportunity to share experiences and talk about jurisprudential issues with each other in a safe, quiet space, so that they can learn from their shared experiences.

The topics discussed were the relationship between domestic, regional and sub-regional courts; topical issues in customary law; and responses to court orders being ignored. Keynote speakers from the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights, academia and legal practice gave presentations.”
