DGRU has a vision of a free, prosperous and democratic Africa where the judiciary and justice systems are accessible and accountable to the people.
DGRU’s mission is to ensure that:
- People living in Africa have knowledge of their laws and their justice systems in order to increase their access to the law
- African judiciaries are well resourced and run smoothly
- African judiciaries are independent and have strong internal systems
- The DGRU is well positioned to advance its work and strengthen its capacity to endure over the long term
