On 30 January 2018 James Chapman presented a workshop at the Adonis Musati Project offices in Cape Town. The workshop was attended by twenty community leaders working towards furthering the rights of refugees in South Africa. The purpose of the workshop was to provide information on refugee law and practice in South Africa. In particular, Mr Chapman spoke about the refugee determination process, application and rights of refugees and asylum seekers in South Africa. Lastly, the workshop focussed on sharing information amongst key organisations about the services available to refugee communities in the Western Cape.
