LARC researcher attends Amandla Development & YASC discussion event

Nokwanda Sihlali attended an Amandla Development hosted event on the 27th of July at Vineyard Hotel. Amandla Development is a Cape Town based  NPO that works in Philippi. They are also specifically collaborating with the Yale Alumni Service Corps (YASC) on a few programmes in Philippi schools and occasionally host YASC alumni and their families who volunteers in Philippi for two weeks. For this specific cohort, Amandla Development asked LARC, alongside other South African academics to lead discussions about South African politics and history; specifically on the Land Act, the Group Areas Act and s25 of the Constitution.
