Event Report: The UCT SDG Summit and pre- Summit Workshop

The Chair participated in the International Summit on the SDGS in Africa 2021 which was hosted by UCT. This entailed leadership of theme 2 on Science, technology and innovation: How to stimulate the strong growth in capacity for science, technology and innovation required for achieving the SDGs in Africa?  See the workshop summaries, and draft positioning papers.  

Prof Ncube introduced theme 2, on behalf of her co-convenors Prof Sudesh Sivarasu and Prof Marcello Vichi in the plenary session entitled 'Setting the scene: The SDGs and Africa' portions of which you can watch below:
