21 April 2011
Sophie Nakueira, doctoral student with the Centre of Criminology presented a poster on "Floating Sovereignties and the Politics of Governance in the 'New World Order': A Challenge to Territorial Conceptions" at the The Fifth International Graduate Legal Research Conference (IGLRC), hosted by King's College London School of Law and Graduate School on the 7th and 8th April. The poster reflected the research undertaken with Julie Berg on "Best Principles of Collaborative Security Governance: Lessons from the 2010 Soccer World Cup". The report funded by OSF was published this week.
The conference was the Fifth International Graduate Legal Research Conference (IGLRC) and took place in the heart of London’s legal quarter. It hosted papers from those "excelling in graduate legal research across Europe and the world and the aim of the conference was to provide a forum for debate, the exchange of ideas and the furtherance of knowledge".
