For World IP Day 2020, Dr Chijioke Okorie remotely interviewed some of our LLM candidates about green innovation and IP in Africa as our way of marking World IP Day 2020. This year's theme is 'innovate for a green future'. Tatenda Gundani spoke about solar energy in Egypt; Nokwanda Zondi discusses preservation of cocoa beans in Cameroon; Mzimasi Mayeza explained how plastic roads in South Africa are contributing to saving the planet and Vuyokazi Magongoma highlighted the significance of bamboo bikes in Ghana. We have also published a
brochure explaining these technologies.
