Ms Ibtisaam Ahmed

Bio

Ibtisaam Ahmed is a lecturer in the Department of Private Law and holds an LLB from the University of Cape Town as well as an LLM from Cornell University.

She was a research assistant to Professor Muna Ndulo at Cornell and is an admitted attorney in the State of New York. Prior to joining the UCT Law Faculty she lectured on the intersection between law, history and literature at Türkiye Gençlik ve Eğitime Hizmet Vakfı (TÜRGEV) in Istanbul, Turkey.

Ibtisaam also writes on various topics for a general audience and her articles have over 70 000 reads online.
