Ms Zanele Njovu

Zanele is a Candidate Attorney at the UCT Law Clinic. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Masters of Laws (LLM) in Intellectual Property from the University of Cape Town. 

Before joining the UCT Law Clinic, Zanele completed a legal internship at Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr and served as a Law Researcher Intern at the Office of the Chief Justice, Western Cape High Court.

Zanele chose to study law to advanced social justice through greater access to the courts. During her final year at UCT, she served as a Student Legal Advisor at the UCT Law Clinic, where she gained valuable experience assisting clients and supporting access to justice initiatives. This experience affirmed her commitment to mobilising access to justice for indigent individuals and upholding their human rights. 

Zanele is honoured to return to the UCT Law Clinic in service of its mandate to provide accessible legal assistance and promote social justice.
