Sky Kruger joined the Refugee Rights Unit in 2025 as a Research Assistant. He holds a BA Law (with distinction) and LLB (with distinction) from the University of Pretoria and an LLM by dissertation (with distinction) from the University of Cape Town. His dissertation explored South Africa's developing policies and practices of deterrence. Sky has published in national peer-reviewed journals.
