Centre of Excellence

The Centre of Excellence has been established through a tri-partite Memorandum of Understanding between JIFA; the African Chapter of the International Association of Refugee and Migrant Judges, and the UNHCR.  It was agreed that the parties will cooperate to establish an English-language Centre of Excellence at JIFA that will deliver international refugee and asylum law courses as well as statelessness and nationality law courses to judicial officers, legal practitioners, asylum and refugee decision makers, and academics.

Federal Justice and Law institute of Ethiopia

We have entered a memorandum of understanding with the Federal Justice and Law institute of Ethiopia for cooperation around capacity building and sharing of knowledge.

National Centre for State Courts

We have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the NCSC for collaboration in the development and implementation of programmes related to justice sector training, institutional capacity, court governance and management, and justice administration.

International Organisation for Judicial Training

As the Secretariat of the ANJT we have signed a Memorandum of Understanding relating to cooperation around training programmes and resources and identifying training needs. 

Southern and East African Chief Justices Forum [SEACJF]

JIFA has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the SEACJF around the shared training programmes in member countries and shared resources.

JIFA supports capacity building with SEACJF members.
