We provide here as much information as possible about the need for coursework postgraduate students to be on campus during 2022. This year will see us using mixed formats - contact teaching where possible, with online components and learning.
Permanent Court of Arbitration-UCT Fellowships 2022
The Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) and Law Faculty of the University of Cape Town (UCT) are pleased to announce a call for applications for a Fellowship at the PCA for a period of one year. Deadline: 16 May 2022.

Welcome to the School for Advanced Legal Studies

The School for Advanced Legal Studies is the home of postgraduate Law programmes at the University of Cape Town.

Registering with us for your postgraduate Law studies means joining a strong community of legal expertise in a range of areas including - amongst many others - Commercial Law, Taxation, Human Rights, Environmental Law, Refugee Law, and Shipping Law. 

With three Departments in the Faculty, postgraduate students can choose to focus their work in Private Law, Public Law and Commercial Law.
